We are searching for a talented Guest Services Representative to be based out of Charleston Town Center, in Charleston, WV . The Guest Services Representative is responsible for the guest services area at the center and includes greeting guests, answering phone calls, and assisting guests with questions regarding services, tenants, and hours of operation. Responsibilities may include parking validation, sale of gift cards, sale of lottery tickets and ticketing and operation of trackless train rides. Answer questions and provide detailed descriptions of services, facility features and hours of operation, etc. to patrons, tenants and guests of the property in person and on the telephone. Accurately handle sale of lottery tickets, gift cards, train ride tickets and parking validations as required. Maintain accurate log of activity including inquiries/problems, marketing event tracking (Gift with Purchase), lost and found etc. Distribute information to tenants and guest information display areas. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the center that require attention or service requests needing a work order. Assist customers needing assistance through the use of sign language and/or special phone equipment (TDD). Assist in all areas of facility operation as requested by management. This position prefers a High School Diploma and/or GED, or equivalent. 1-2 years of previous Customer Service or Retail experience. Required skills for the position include: computer skills necessary to log information and access electronic resources to look up information, High School level math proficiency, ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of guests and tenants and answer questions and concerns professionally and courteously, ability to multi-task, and maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment This position requires up to 10% travel.
