We want to hear from you Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Assuring the quality of treatment delivery through the complete and accurate documentation of treatment recordsRecognizing deviation from prescribed treatment delivery and reporting all deviations to the Chief Therapist and/or PhysicistObserving patients for expected and unexpected reactions to treatments and communicating these to appropriate staff members; reinforcing patient education/side effect management information and indicating non:compliance to medical/nursing staffTaking localization radiographs according to planned treatment delivery, under the direction of a radiation oncologist; accurately inputting treatment:related data into the verify:and:record systemAssisting as needed in all treatment:related proceduresPerforming and documenting daily and weekly QA activity for assigned equipment; notifying Chief Therapist immediately of findings outside the normal range of operationsParticipating in programs to measure and improve the quality of care within the Department *LI:JR1AssociateA?s degree or at least 3 years of experience; advanced degre preferredCompletion of a formal radiation therapy technology programCertified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy:: ARRT (T)Prior experience preferred Physical Requirements:The employee may be exposed to radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, and a strong magnetic field.
