The Dow Chemical Company has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Process Engineer located in South Charleston, WV. The Lead Process Engineer role exists to lead the engineering portion of the Licensed Technology deliverables in support of new and existing licensing clients and act as a resource to Catalyst Business Projects and R&D Project Teams. The role also includes providing engineering support to Commercial organization in obtaining new businesses.

Univation Technologies, LLC licenses UNIPOL(TM) Polyethlene (PE) Gas Phase Technology and sells UNIPOL PE catalyst to Licensees.

Responsibilities include:

* Define and lead technology projects to improve UNIPOL PE technology offerings.

* Lead an engineering team primarily consisting of Univation secondee process engineers and contractor process engineering resources in the delivery of the Licensed Technology to new clients.

* Lead an engineering team to deliver capacity expansion or new catalyst technology process design package to existing clients. This type of assignment will require site visit to client's plant to evaluate the existing equipment.

* Represent Univation's technology at Project Kick-off meetings and other client meetings where design basis decisions are made.

* Resolve non-routine technical or project issues for existing licensing clients.

* Represent engineering function in R&D Teams for new technology development for the PE gas phase technology.

* Provide engineering support to R&D facility modifications, semi commercial reactor facility modifications or catalyst production unit/plant modification projects.

* Work effectively and efficiently with all Univation functions, R&D/Manufacturing Field Support Group/Marketing/Catalyst Business/Commercial Organization, to successfully deliver value to our customers.

Required Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering

* 8 years industry relevant experience

* Experience leading teams

* Experience in all project phases (Definition, Design, Construction and Start Up)

* A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) suppliers and vendors
